Electric pumps
Tedeschi Gomma manufactures rubber articles for electric pump applications. Rubber items for this application are : O-Rings, Flat Gaskets or Washers, Type HL Dust Seals, Sand Shield Gaskets, Spray Shield Gaskets, Type UM Lip Gaskets, Balls, and Custom Made Items.
O-Rings
Tedeschi Gomma O-RINGS are used mainly on centrifugal electric pumps, which have a characteristic mechanical stuffing box seal, consisting of a steel part and a graphite part, and the latter has a seat for O-RINGS. On this type of seal, small leaks can occur over time, and the Tedeschi Gomma O-RINGS, placed on the shaft outside the stuffing box, serve to prevent the liquid, when flowing on the pump shaft, from being centrifuged outside.
Sand Guard Gaskets
Tedeschi Rubber Seals are used on the shaft of the centrifugal electric pump between the cooling fan and the motor backplate to prevent dust sucked in by the fan from getting into the motor and thus damaging the bearing, resulting in more serious failures.
Flat Gaskets or Washers
Tedeschi Rubber flat gaskets or WASHERS are used as pump seal cable tighteners.
Spheres
Tedeschi Rubber BALLS are used as check valves on submersible and submersible pumps and for slurry pump priming systems.
